Do you know what the name Immanuel means? I'm Richard Pratt, President of Third Mill. If you said that Immanuel means God with us, you'd be right. But God with us means much more than we usually understand. In the Bible, it means that God goes with His people into battle, protecting them, and giving them the victory. We all face battles in life, but we don't need to be afraid. We can be strong and confident because Jesus is the great Immanuel, God with us and all of our struggles. The Lord's words to Joshua speak powerfully to us today. Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened. Do not be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. At Third Mill, we're not just teaching the Bible. We're holding on to Immanuel. God with us in all of our battles wherever we may go. Now go and advance God's kingdom.
