Joel Hunter

Dr. Joel C. Hunter is the former Senior Pastor of Northland Community Church, one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in America. Dr. Hunter received his B.A. in History from the University of Ohio, and his M.Div. and D.Min from Christian Theological Seminary. He is the author of The Journey to Spiritual Maturity, The Challenging Road, and Prayer, Politics, and Power, and has other volumes forthcoming. He has also contributed to Leadership Magazine and other periodicals. In 2018 Joel and his wife Becky started Community Resource Network, a nonprofit organization, to help the homeless and marginalized without institutional contraints and with a personal touch.
