Clown Hamlets

Did you know that Arthur Feedler, the late director of the Boston Pops Orchestra, always felt inferior because the music he produced was, to his elite friends, the dexterity and then common? One time a reporter asked him about it and he said with astonishing honesty and a degree of pathos, I guess every plan wants to play hamlet. Arthur thinks that we aren't that wonderful and that it's a surprise that God loves us at all. When we try to be too spiritual and too together, we mess up our witness of being beggars, telling other beggars where we found bread. To mix the metaphor, God in the world would rather watch a really good clown than to abide a really poor actor. I'm Steve Brown, a key life network, you think about that.
