Did you hear about the new pastor of a church who preached the same sermon for Sunday's Spirit? Elder said to him, Pastor, we love you, but you keep on preaching the same sermon over and over again, sort of, sort of irritating. Well, the new pastor replied, when you learn what I preached and live it, we'll move on to something else. No, I don't know what he was preaching. He may have just been lazy in his homologics, but I'll tell you what I would do if I were a new pastor of a church. I would preach God's grace, His love, and His unconditional acceptance of sinners like us. And then I would get to the other stuff. You know something?
