Do you remember the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem when all of his disciples were laughing and rejoicing and making noise, shouting alleluia and waving bomb branches? You remember the religious folks came to Jesus and said, Jesus, this is unseemly, ungodly, can't you do something about these fanatics? Do you remember what Jesus said? He said, if these were silent, I'd tell you, the very rocks would cry out. If you're forgiven and you know it, if you know that God's love is unconditional and you know that you're going to live forever and that doesn't make you want to dance and shout a little, maybe be a little bit charismatic even if you're not, you're dead.
