Got a call from a friend this morning, it was on my voice mail when I got in. I went when I heard his voice, let me tell you why, seven months ago, we had prayed about his booze problem. He told me then that the alcohol was destroying his life, and so we prayed together. We both knew Jesus and didn't know where else to go. When I heard his voice, I was afraid he had fallen. You know what he said? Good morning, Steve. Just wanted you to know I'm straight. The day I've been sober, seven months, isn't God awesome? Have a good day. I've been having a good day all day. In fact, if you had been in my office this morning, you would have seen this old Presbyterian dancing. Listen, when my friend is sober, I share his joy, just as I shared his pain when he was drunk.
