The Apostle Paul often pointed out how destructive false teaching can be, so we must always remain vigilant to ensure that our teaching is true to God's Word, but the Apostle also pointed out the harm that comes from how we treat each other. Things like gossip, harsh criticism, envy, pride, disrespect, and bitterness can be terribly destructive, too. Standing for the truth of God's Word is essential, but love must also abound within the church. As the Apostle wrote, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
